Default My Custom Delta Connection Saab 340B 1/200

This is first of two conversions i am doing of a couple of my British Airways Saabs to Delta Connection. 1/200 Scale. The Decals were a nightmare for this tiny model, but I managed to make them work.

Very nice! It looks like you and I had the same idea. I also purchased those decals to hopefully make a 1:200 Delta saab 340. I haven't purchased a herpa 1:200 340 yet, but hopefully I'll get one soon. The Delta Saab 340s were beautiful aircraft!

Ya man, those decals are TRICKY!! The first one i just about ruined them putting them on. But after a lot of patience and persistence, it worked out. You gotta be real careful with decals this size that they go straight on the model, because as they come off the decal sheet they want to curl up real bad. The models I used were the British Airways Waves of the City model. That way I didn't have to paint the fuselage and engines. Also, make sure you remove the previous window decals. I found on the second model, that he Herpa Windows don't quite align with the DrawDecal ones. Good luck!

Very nice job.

Before dipping the decals into water, I suggest to spray a light clear coat on them and you let them dry.
That way, they don't roll under themselves when they come off the backing paper.
Micro Set and Micro Sol are very helpful too.

Jean Pierre.

Thank you. I'll look into that stuff before my next conversion!
