Wink Spirit Of Delta's Original Livery

These are pics of the First Delta 767, delivered in 1982. It came originally with the 767 big on the tail. It then became the "Spirit of Delta" which DW has made a model of. Then in 1995 it became on of two Delta jets to be repainted in the 1996 Olympic scheme. It has since been repainted in the Classic widget Livery. Enjoy.

In front of your 767, is that a custom Delta Widget MD-80? Great job!

DeltaFlot, one word comes to mind...incredible. I have always admired your work and this only adds to it. When can we see the next one?

You know that this plane was the one that made an appearance at the "Paris Airshow?" not N101DA.

an interesting side note.

N102DL "Spirit of Delta" just turned 20 years old this month, and it's still registered in the "Experimental" category

Is the logo on the engine supposed to be pointing down?

And I was just wondering why there were white "notches" in the metal belly above the wings and around the front gear area?

Also, you may want to make your "widget" logo on the front door larger, its a bit too small.

Good job

The engine widget has since been fixed, noticed it myself after I had already posted it here. Not sure how those notches are appearing on the photo, they aren't onthe aircraft itself, maybe a reflection. Your right about the widget, another thing i discovered too late.

Question

Now that I look closer the black nose paint looks a little strange as well, can we look forward to an updated photo then?

that wasn't my fault, I put the openings in the sticker right on top of the windows. As for the Engine widget being crooked, its been fixed since then.
