No, I believe Revell made some odd ball scales too. It's like a 60's-70's kit.

Nice! I've always kinda liked the quirky but novel yellow wings on Northeast's fleet. Very indicative of the time period, anyway!

The original kit was released in 1961, back then Revell and most others released all their models in what was referred to as "box scale". They had one size box and every model airframe was scaled to fit that size box, so the B707 fuselage was the same length as a DC9-10 and a Caravelle and so on. I hated that, I always wanted everything in the same scale, Airfix was the only one back then whose airliners were all 1/144.

Beautiful job Brad, I am rebuilding one right now that was pretty badly damaged. You have to appreciated all the detail that Revell had on all those parts, just about every panel line, rivet and hatch is there to see.
