Default Pan American 727-100

I recently obtained a 1/200 JC Wings Royal New Zealand Air Force Boeing 727-100. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a custom job for me, repainting it into the Pan American livery?
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

There is currently a Gemini 727-100 in 1970s-early 80s Pan Am livery, on eBay for $99 plus shipping. You will find a custom model will likely run you quite a bit more than that, once you factor in postage and labor. Why not just buy the Gemini, which is a perfectly good model, and sell the other model to recoup part of your cost? I also have another die cast Pan Am 727-100 from another manufacturer (the name escapes me at the moment), I like it and the Gemini equally well.

The only reason to go the custom route, IMO, is because a particular model is unavailable, so costly, rare, or has something drastically wrong with it, that it makes the custom the only option. This is not the case with the Pan Am 727-100.

If you do decide to go custom, contact Alstang, he did several customs for me, that I am very pleased with.

You could try it yourself. All you really need are decals and nail polish remover. Here's a tutorial in AMC: AIRLINERMODELCOLLECTOR-ISSUE2-JAN14 - flipgorilla.

This. The GJ is a much better value than the custom.
