Nice work Brad--as usual! Are you freehand airbrushing that exhaust stain?

The weathering on the engines is Tamiya Weatherine powders...like a paste that is kinda brushed on and off.

Can't wait to see this one finished. Your engine use detail is amazing. I see the real thing up close, and your interpretation is spot on.

Forgive my ignorance, but do you usually make models for your own collection,or models that customers have requested? Do you have collection photos you can post? I'd be curious to know if you were born with this talent,or many years of experience to reach this level of perfection? Your daily use wear (exhaust, oil, exposure to elements) looks very realistic. I saw the Ethiopian B777 finished, and it basically was a scaled down version of the actual aircraft.

For the record, this AV A319 will be an addition to my collection. I've always liked the way they looked, so I approached Brad to make it for me. I also have a SW 737-700 that Brad made in my collection as well.

Great work Brad on the Avianca A319. Early last year, I had a custom made Avianca 757-200 sheet in 1/200 for a Wooster 757 and here's some photos of it. It was a mess up on my part, but I had hoped to have paid more attention to the red paint wrapping around the top of the fuselage towards the tail but oh well, I did what I could. I think their new scheme is unique. Anyway, great work on the A319.

Regards,
Charles
