Remarkable craftsmanship!! Really?? Out of paper?!? There needs to be a rating system here. I'd give that 243 out of 5 stars.

Great work! If I were to critique it, I would say make the window panes (acetate) darker.
Keep the photos coming. Would love to see some planes parked on your terminal!

Nice work. A great deal of patience I might add. Dare I ask, will there be a Terminal 2?

First: thanks to you all. It gives me the will to continue my work
And: yes, there will be a terminal 2 soon, but it's planned to be a cheap tiny terminal for low-cost airlines. They did that on my home airport (Berlin-Tegel) and it looks a bit like a construction site...

I created everything by myself. I used Microsoft Word for it.

Re: My first airport (Terminal 1) 1:500
Today, I added two runways, an airfield, an airport tower (made from cardboard) and a hangar (made from cardboard some weeks ago):
And this was the official opening with the landing of the Ju52 "D-AQUI" by Lufthansa:
In two weeks time, I will have to put it away and start revising for uni

Terminal 2 added
Hey guys,
after buying another Air Berlin plane yesterday, I decided to build terminal 2 today. This is, what came out:
First an overview (the black boxes are the new terminal):
A closer view (in the background, you can see a roofed pavement, saying "Welcome to Berlin." in German and English, sponsored by airberlin):
That's my new Airbus A320 (as you can see, the colours are not the best, because it was getting dark already, when I took the photo):
And finally: the moveable staircase, I created today:

Concur! Also, I like how you have made it fit within the confines of the room. Nice little hangar area around the corner too!

Thanks.
I created everything in Word and printed it on either paper (190g/m²) or acetate sheets. For the "terminal building" I made a footprint of every single floor to know, what I need for the inside life and where to put it.
I used ordinary paper glue (stick). Hope, that helps you.
For the runway and taxiway I simply used ordinary paper (DIN A3) and a pencil
The most difficult thing was to make it fit in the corner of my room between the window and a shelf.
I would really like to show some more pictures, but I already destroyed it.
I am currently working on a paper model of Berlin Tegel Airport, but I'm afraid it won't be finished until next summer

You already destroyed it? Shame.
I like the features visible inside the terminal, but once you got that far, it looks a little lonely in there. Any chance to put some people inside?

Actually, I only destroyed the runway and the taxiways. The terminal building is still 'alive'.
I don't know, whether I can put people in it. I thought about it but finally didn't do it, because I haven't got any and I have no idea, where to buy them. But it should be possible to put some people inside.

I believe, this was a question, so I put all my vehicles together in one document and printed it out as a pdf.
It contains the moveable staircases, the airport tug and three different kinds of buses, we have in Berlin (MAN Lion's City (double decker), Mercedes Benz Citaro (long and short version)).
I hope, it'll help ya all

Nice airport! I like it that one runway is shorter than another. Gives it a more realistic feeling. Is your airport built on the ground of a room?
