My latest project is heavily inspired by Palma de Mallorca. The general concept is based on that of Module A. It is not a full representation as I wanted to feature aspects within the space I have available.
All the stands are as accurately presented as possible based on true dimensions and angles using Google Earth. The middle remote stands have been cut down from 6 to 4 to allow both taxiways either side, as well as to feature the widebody stand on the right. The stand to the left of the left taxiway was really not in the thought process but was able to be featured with the remaining space as I worked from right to left for the majority of the planning process.
The idea is to begin from the 1990's. It really should of began in 1995 - the year I was born. However we start in 1994 for the sole purpose of featuring the Caledonian 757-200. Depending on what models I acquire, I may consider earlier times than that of the 90's but for now we will progress from the mid 90's.

We move into 1997 with this update. I was hopeful MD-80s would fit into the middle remote stand positions but they don't seem to be able to, certainly not with the guidance of the stop lines andk keeping the T tails in the stand boundaries.

We follow with more action from 2002 in this Part 2 showcase of movements. The highlight notably is the Corsair A330-200 F-HCAT. Also, the Boeing Business Jet B737-700 actually had the titles removed along the fuselage during this period in real life.

We return with movements from 2004. Notably this is the first TUI smile logo aircraft we have featured so far and a step into the era that I am perhaps most familiar with. Notably the British Airways B777-200ER is unexpected but paid a visit after making a fuel stop from Africa on return back to Heathrow.
I will be sending my camera off to be cleaned soon so this will hopefully give a greater perspective on models especially when we transition into fleets of airlines...
Over a week delay with this update from 2006. I sent my camera off for a sensor clean but unfortunately it came back exactly the same showing lots of dust/spots on the images with higher aperture.
In the meantime, please enjoy the photos as I am currently taking them...

Following on from the last update, we push into 2007 which represents the most significant update for me including some wonderful models. One notable one is the custom Thomsonfly 737-300 G-THOE which has been in my collection for some years now but the first time I have featured on any airport I have produced.
Also, I managed to clean my sensor with Dust-Aid Platinum. A very simple and effective cleaning kit.

Update focused in 2010....
The upcoming updates will taken is up to 2019. So we still have 9 more updates to get through. Then I will focus on a small US based project and then follow with a smaller UK project based similar to my home airport.
