Last year I decided to build a 1/200 airport to act as an over the top display place for my models, and I finished the base early this year. However, I recently decided to redo the entire base with Mozart model print outs. The previous lay out had 11 widebody gates, 10 narrowbody gates, and 4 regional gates. The new layout will have 13 widebody gate (two of those will probably become cargo stands), and 16 narrow body gates (5 of those are plus sized and 8 are remote stands). Jetways are made by tiny airport, and the buildings are print outs from airport diorama custom assembled by me. I have big plans for it, but right now I don’t have the money for it as the widebody jetways I ordered cost an arm and a leg to buy. Any advice or constructive criticism is appreciated.
Really nice job. I used Mozart’s for my ground foils as well. Hey if you aren’t already, you may want to join my 1:200 airport group on FB. Tiny Airport is a group admin there as well as myself. GSE is a must have for that setup. I invested heavily in Tiny Airport GSE. Again, nice use of space and I look forward to seeing it complete.

Thanks! Yes I used a block of wood, it really makes a difference. It feels better with some weight too, also it is much stronger and more durable.
Great. Thanks for the confirmation. I will try the same. Please post more pictures if you get the chance. Closeup shots of the connections between the terminal and the jet bridges would be much appreciated.
