Default 1/200 Airport. 49 Gates.

Folks I've completed my main concourses. Airport is 8ft x 8ft. Eventually I'll make one smaller 8 Gate satellite Terminal that will use buses to ferry passengers to. You can see it on my YouTube channel foster398.

If you like the GSE, put in an order with Omid, his DAC is IranAir4ever. He is awesome at making almost anything you need, and my airport wouldn't be anything near this awesome without his help.

Enjoy!

Nice work.

What kind of ground foils did you use?

Horad, thanks! The groundfoils I buy blank from a seller in the U.K. I design and print all my own markings. I used to use ones I downloaded online, but I needed much more customization. Each spot is designed to fit. Basically once I am good with the design, I print it out on transparent adhesive backed paper, and adhere it to the tarmac. It's a lot of work, but I get great results.

I agree, it looks great. Thanks for the explanation!

You should add some people. Preiser has some great looking figurers, even if they're quite expensive.

Dang, maybe the pictures I posted didn't show any. Ya I have like 5 sets of them out there. I also have a bunch of passengers boarding the Q400's and commuters. I have a rule that when I see preiser airport personnel I buy them. They are really tough to find.

Freaking outstanding! Are the jetways Omid's, Mozart, both and or something else?

7 of them are Omid's. Gates 1-5, 8, and 15. The rest are Mozart. His latest ones he made though are on par with them, and in some ways I like them more. I've considered selling the Mozarts and replacing them with his. We'll see.

The airline specific baggage carts are omids as well and did they come with the logos? Keep in mind if you decide to sell the mozart jetways.

I will let you know on the jetways. Be aware though that they are pricy, like in the $50 apiece range inc shipping. I paid about $57 apiece.

As far as the baggage carts, ya they are from Omid as well they are awesome. They come plain white, with the bottom (wheels and base) black. I print out or paint all the customization on them. Gotten pretty good at it as I've done about 75 of them in all the various airlines.

Thank you. I looked into it but shipping was insanely high. I emailed them about at and we'll see what they reply on Monday. Again, thank you for finding that.

Ok, I know they're expensive and it's a shame JCwings new jetway isn't representative of like 90% of the jetways worldwide.

If you order for more than 50€, shipping to Germany will be free. I could arrange shipping as registered mail to the US for less than 10€, depending on the size and weight of the parcel.
Just write me a message, if their answer is not satisfying.

Those are good options. Ya I was ordering like 100 euro worth and it gave me the 31euro estimate on top for shipping.
