Default 1:200 scale figures

Hello Everyone !
I've started few time ago my collection in 1:200 scale.
I must admit that I'm really enjoying this scale !
But I'm looking for figures to add near my planes, and I don't where to search ?
There is of course the herpa figure set : it seems to be sold out everywhere.
So my question is : which one do you use to animate your dioramas ?

Preiser ones ? (1/220)
Or some from ebay, really cheap, sometime unpaint, but the quality seems to not be there.

Thank you very much in advance for your help !

Hi Jamy14, I agree, there don't seem to be many good quality options for prepainted 1:200 pilots or ground crew options nowadays. The Preiser ones are quite hard to find and look great, but IMHO are quite expensive now. I definitely think there is a market for a manufacturer to release some new variations of flight crew in different uniform colours.

I'm definitely agree with you.
Until a manufacturer decide to release some figures, I think I will go for these cheap unpainted figures (sold by 100 pieces or more), paint them, and glue them on a thin transparent support.
I think there is not many alternative nowadays, unfortunatly...

I've bought the 100 piece sets on eBay as well as a bunch of the preiser ones. The preiser sets are great, but I ended up paying about $15-$20 per set of 6. You can check out one of my videos where I've started to populate my airport with them. The 100 sets off eBay are adequate. And I would probably
Buy buy more if needed.

I think the Preiser are worth their price, because that's really skilled work how they paint the details. I tried to paint some of the unpainted Preiser figures, but ended up not near the Preiser quality. In the end, the Preisers are a high-end product and you get what you pay for.

Hello Franzlhuber,

You're right, I've seen some pictures of these figures, and they are really well painted, especially with a so small scale.
The price is a little bit high for just 6 figures, but maybe it worth the price.
I will try to find some aroud me
Thanks again for your help

I just got a set of Preiser ones. I must say that I'm really suprised how good they are. I have painted some figures in 1:35 scale. And those look a lot less pretty.

Me personally previously used Tomitec N (Japan) scale 1/150 figures for my 1/200 models and they went along pretty well.

I heard that a gentlemen was selling 1/200 figurines at the Shanghai show earlier this month and business was brisk. Anybody there to capture these on pics?

Preiser is the way to go in 1:200 scale. And I think we're damn lucky to have them. Attached is a picture of mine with cockpit/cabin crew.
