Miniaturwunderland Hamburg is THE Mecca for aviation enthusiasts and model collectors. What these guys have created cannot be described in words. It's simply a MUST SEE.

Although Knuffingen Airport is by far not the only attraction in der Wunderland, it is their masterpiece.

The whole programming of the airport (and many other parts of the Wunderland) has been done by only one man! The airport is fully computer controlled. Human interaction isn't needed normally.

The planes (and all support vehicles) follow a defined schedule the whole day. Planes can take off and land in both directions depending on the simulated wind situation. There are even go arounds and emergency landings, just everything... Really outstanding
