Yeah, I was there until about 130p or so, a lot of vendors, but not a lot of buyers. Maybe being in Long Beach it is harder for the LA people to come down for the show.

Not harder - it’s a poorly advertised show (I.e. not at all). Word of mouth no longer works. While I have no ill-will towards the show, I think this weekend was the final nail in the coffin. I’ve heard from a number of vendors who have been at all the shows previously and they will no longer attend future shows in Long Beach put on by the same people. It’s a shame, but the reality. Tables aren’t cheap, and for those out of town vendors, hotels plus travel is expensive when you don’t sell anything.

I've seen pics and it looks to be a dismal turnout.

Was it as bad as the La Guardia show got? That show got to the point that it was 2 retailers starring at each other all day with the occasional lost traveler accidentally walking into the show looking for a bathroom!

WTF?!?! I guess it was poorly advertised, as I didn't even hear about this one. Shame to see this, as we don't ever get any good shows around these parts. I'm really hoping for an AI to hit the LA area one of these years...
