another great show today. shedloads of models for sale, and as usual loads of bargains to be had. all the 'usual' suspects' were there selling and met several forum members too. this year AIRSPOTTERS had their biggest display ever with TWELVE tables!! main features of their display was their own model airport and dioramas. so as ARD get plenty of exposure from RUI, I will do this first post for them. enjoy the pics. PLEASE wait till I have finished posting!

and now some other general pics from the show. westway models that make and restore large scale models had a couple of nice 1/72 B.A CONCORDES. 1 had full metal landing gear, and the other had flashing lights. run off a small 9volt battery! 2 pics.

Thanks RJ, good selection of pics. Hdere's a few extra that I took including the green roof Aer Lingus F-27. I left early at 12 noon went out for lunch via LHR and a took a few pics.

hi russ. it is the SKYMARKS SUPREME 1/100 model.
they are the only 1/100 models I know that also come with gears. he also had a MONARCH A320 too.

glad you liked the pictuires guys!! we do it ALL OVER AGAIN in 4 weeks time at the first of the 2 annual HEATHROW shows. Gatwick is only 35 mins from me. heathrow is at least twice the time minimum! wish they had a second GATWICK show around end of july'ish.

I was delighted to pick up some rare 1/400 BigBird, Blue Box and Aeroclassics at bargain prices. I saw someone buy a whole box from him! I think a few minutes after the doors were open, they were all gone.

Shame I had to miss out again this year but as it was my wedding anniversary it's perhaps just as well I didn't go

Gatwick is actually an easy one to get to for me as I can get a flight from Glasgow and pick up the courtesy bus. It makes it a right royal day out for an avgeek like me. Maybe next year.
