Any experiences on how well vendors do at this show? I'm thinking of getting a table and selling off a bunch of my 1/200 stuff that's no longer fitting into my collection. I have not been to the Chicago show in about 4 years, so I'm wondering how it's been going lately.
That Aviation Universe will have a table, finally, at the spring show. Hopefully that WILL be the case. Steve Mazanek, whom sponsers the show, has ALWAYS welcomed ALL hobby stores with OPEN arms to participate in the two shows he puts on every year. Plus it will help get the word out that there is a THIRD option for airline models and PILOTS supplies in the Chicagoland area. Please Aviation Universe join the spring show in 2014.
The show was Awesome! as usual. Steve puts on an excellent show. The weather was overcast and drizzly which made for an ideal time to visit an airline collectables show. This was my second time going to the Chicagoland show. I even found a Skymark's Delta "Habit for Humanity" B763 which I had to grab.

I would like to thank the host for a great show. It was the first time I went to the show last Saturday and we bought many stuffs. Next time I will try to be there earlier and stay longer. I have a small question, where can I find a list of the vendors? The reason is I bought 4 1/500 models for 130 from a vendor (his tables are on the left center sides of the entrance) and I forgot to take his business card. He told me that his son is in charge of maintaining a website of listing all the models they sell and I would like to chance to visit his website. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
I was at the show, and yes, Steve always does his best. I am grateful to him for sponsoring, and setting up the show. However, I thought the attendance and # of dealers was way down for this show compared to previous shows I have been too. They usually have the second room full of dealers (in the same room where they had the slide show set up this year). Additionally, I did not find very many good deals there this time. A lot of stuff was over-priced. It was good to meet Josh, he had a nice table/display. Anymore, the best part of the shows are seeing old friends, and shooting the breeze with them.
