If you open Photoshop and resize the photo with percentage tab, you'll keep the resolution but have a smaller file.
Most of my iphone pics are 16mb at 300dpi. I resize the pic down to 40%. That brings the file size down to about 3mb.
I then bring it down one more time when saving for web and devices to about 80%. The photo is then streamlined for
optimal viewing at the highest resolution and fits the window from wherever you're linking in from.

PS: Should have this model today or tomorrow. YES! Been wanting from the first time I saw the airplane.
