That is because they are white. The actual color is such a light grey that even the KLM decal sheet states it as 'almost white'. The Risesoon KLM models are also white and the Herpa A330 just a shade darker so I thought to hell with it, I'll keep it white and retain the original Hogan lower fuselage details i.e. cargo doors, ports, handles etc. I can't see why KLM even bothered with that so-called grey and should have just kept it white. The difference is minute.
Unfortunately no KLM from Hogan for the foreseeable future as they don't have the KLM license and KLM is satisfied with whatever models they are having made for themselves in various 'shapes and measures' to quote them. The 772 was a Socatec order.
