What about the all metal 1:200s from Herpa? i ordered the Lufthansa and the American one, but don't have em yet. From what i saw and read about the Lufthansa 727 it's just great and the detail is fairly good. Off course, you can't ask the same amount of detail as from a Premium. The Convair looks great too.
As far as i know Herpa would like to do more in die cast in 1:200 but the weight is too high to ship. So much for a full size 747! Being located in Europe myself, Herpa is not that expensive for me. Anyway, from what i see, some shipments cost more in transport then the actual value of the plane!
