thanks, but it's surprisingly easy. it took me under an hour. of course, i have high quality tools (and a magnifying loupe) which make it easy. you can't do it without the tools
on the 1/48, adding the little knobs and levers is the tough part.
i just finished the fw190. will post pics later. it came out "ok" as i made a few mistakes, but its fine. the problem with the fw190 is that the lower cockpit essentially can't be reached through the cockpit opening. the work would be much much easier if it were possible to do it like kit builders do with the cockpit out of the model entirely.\
the job i did on a hm p-51d recently was better. i posted photos of it somewhere here a few months ago (and nobody commented ha ha).
