And when I went in the store, there was a 1/72 727 model with flaps down hanging from the ceiling and I thought it was the most beautiful thing ever. I remember coveting it so much. I even met the guy who made it who was there at the time. I think he told me he made it for a competition. So definitely a 727 flaps down is a wish come true.

You mean Just Plane Crazy close to (what was then) RWY09R? Loved that little dedicated store. Just cannot remember what airline that 727 was. And I loved Spirit Restaurant, with all their Eastern Air Lines stuff and models hanging from the ceiling. Those were the days, man...
