EK delays its first 77X delivery into 2022
Just my two cents, but wouldn't it be more clever to sell off a few 77Ws to airlines still using the 744 or 748? Lets say replacing three or four 77Ws with one 77X (if fleet shrinking is a topic) would make EK more profitable after the pandemic. If they wanted to get rid of more 77W or 748is you can also raise the number of sell-out 77Ws to 10 or 15 to be replaced by the 77X. Iberia for example is about to phase out their 346s. WHen the would want some interimn replacement EK could help with some 77Ws. Air traffic will rise again and airlines have to be prepared for that.
