Please share with us once you're done! Although his iconic control tower sadly no longer exists, there are other surviving examples of Sir Frederick Gibberd's work. He designed Britain's very first tower block, "The Lawn", built in 1950 and located in Harlow. It comprises an irregular trapezoid design, and should look very familiar as the design for the 1955 Control Tower came off the same drawings.
