Gulliver has made some of the best 1:200 models and I loved having one of their E-2C Hawkeyes which actually had, in some ways, more detail than the Hobby Master 1:72 version. Herpa also makes several models but they are pricier. Herpa partnered with TSM models to make 1:200 carrier decks which I have never seen but still may be available.
Thanks for the reply. I checked but Gulliver brand doesn't seem to have a presence locally, fortunately a lot from Hogan still are. I checked just now and that 1/200 carrier deck is sweet!

Although some major airframes missing still. Notably a Harrier.

As above for smaller models Hogan Herpa have the market but one or two others eg Dassault Shop

....but you can get a U2/TR1
Well for now I plan on getting the fighter jets first, but we'll see. Regarding the brands Herpa and Hogan, are they equal in terms of detail?

Are the 1/200 military aircraft similar in terms of weight and feel to a 1/400 narrow body airline aircraft?
