You are right in some ways however he doesn't respond to e-mails and his PM mailbox is always full. Regardless I am easily one of the biggest customers for his models in the world and am without a doubt one of the best advocates for his products given how often they feature in my blog posts so the suggestion of a vendetta or wrongdoing on my part is odd to me.
I can't believe this is a one-off problem. It'd be a huge coincidence that it was the model sent to one of only two major model reviewers that had this fault out of the whole batch. Maybe it is but it is becoming a fairly regular thing of recent and I haven't seen much in the way of improvement being made.
I try to be fair with everyone. Produce good models get good reviews, produce bad models get bad reviews. It's that simple.
