I can get behind that to a point, but as Richard mentioned, it seems that some manufacturers have kept their prices about the same namely Phoenix and Aeroclassics. Gemini's price and apparent Quality Control issues don't line up.
According to this theory if they are asking for more money for models, it means they need to pay employees more to fabricate scale airplanes. Which means with increased or even balanced wages, the quality should either stay the same or improve, not decline. I can also sort of make sense of the rise in price coming from the cost of shipping but again, why is it mainly one manufacturer that's increased their prices. Pretty sure all these models are coming out of China.
