The CF-100 was the only Canadian Aviation designed and built combat aircraft (Fighter/Interceptor) to reach operational status (1953), and the RCAF "Canuck" (later CF) played a critical role in this country's participation in the defence of North America and Europe during the first two decades of the Cold War...
