Given the HM piece is inferior in paint quality and the lack of ordinance, as well certain inaccuracies, the options to be competitive are cut the price or improve the quality and options of add ons.
The complexity of the model along with the cost of production makes it hard to cut the price. HM will need to step up the game on this model to truly compete. More over, the Jolly Rogers has quite the following in the Asian market, so it WILL be critiqued there. For HM to "solidify" it's reputation, it will need to step up on all accounts with this or accept a poorer reputation within that market.
Given the last two models, HM needs to REALLY pay attention and go all out on this piece, quite a bit more rides on it now. The Asian market demands better, the reason you see HM pop more detailing on the Japanese models. Which surprises me as I would have thought they would wait a bit longer to insure they could produce this on it's best footing. A risky move for them at this stage.
