Check out these pics of the hangar deck on board the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Then take a look further down the page at the hangar deck on the flagship carrier of the Russian navy, Admiral Kuznetzov. Tight doesn't begin to describe the space on the Russky carrier...

Chinese and Indian carriers are said to be virtually the same in terms of hangar space, which makes sense considering they are for all intents and purposes clones of the Russian flat tops.
