PACIFIC COASTAL AIRLINES
Based in Vancouver, British Columbia
Pacific Coastal Airlines, or Pasco as it's known by at YVR, is a regional airline offering both land and sea plane services all over British Columbia. They have flown (and continue to fly) some pretty unique aircraft too! Gemini Jets released a 1/400 scale Pacific Coastal Airlines Shorts 360, but it was far too tiny to really appreciate if you ask me (although I do have it in my collection).
* Pacific Coastal owns and operates a fleet of vintage Grumman G-21A Goose amphibious airplanes (four of a known 30 aircraft in the world that are still airworthy).
* The tails of their aircraft are all unique and represent different west coast scenes or activities.
* Pacific Coastal employs over 300 people at their bases with hubs in Vancouver and Port Hardy.
* Pacific Coastal is the largest land-based airline in the Greater Vancouver Regional District - the third largest metropolitan area in Canada.
