Here's the shot without the skis of DW USAF LC-130R.
Hmmm...., I'm not sure whether I can make it though, I've got started modifications reaching for a better looking model.
The nose landing gear was modified to be steerable with rolling tires.
The main landing gears have been modified as well.
Fit checking shots (whether all the landing gears touch on the ground at the same time.)
Another mods of USAF C-130E
Hope you all would enjoy. To be continued later...
Very good, the DW LC-130R is the best one they have done so far. However there are so many interesting Air Forces and colour schemes, I can't understand why DW have chosen so many dull and boring schemes for the rest of their Herks?

Up close they look great. but with 102 in the fleet, I wouldn't know where to start! plus you could only do a few to have that look and then you need to have them housed on a higher shelve to see, unlike having them on a table where you only look down on them.
Don't get me wrong! I think what you did is great. What it should be is on a rough dirt or grass landing field with those big tires

At least Aki posted photos of his most excellent C-130 Very good of him to share.
Hi guys! Got the 109th Herk today in the mail, which has come with their new package. Heard it came with their new stand though, mine has had an old fashioned one.
The tab has been installed on the cargo door. So, for the first time, could know it had a removable door.
IMHO, it has the best cockpit windows printing so far. Note that all the landing gears are not original.
Wow! the engine intakes have been painted anyway!!, but why silver?... Hmm... Don't care as it cannot be seen on my shelf!
