Default Shops in Seattle area

Hey guys,

I'm in Seattle for work this week and next. I was wondering if there are any shops - NOT online that I could walk in and physically buy a 1/400 Phoenix model from?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about Phoenix. I know Galaxy Hobby in Lynnwood sells Geminis. HobbyTown USA by Southcenter Mall used to sell Geminis as well. The Boeing Gift Shop next to Boeing Field sells all makes but most are in standard Boeing Colors. You could also check the Alaska Airlines Company Store near SeaTac as they sell all types of Alaska models.

I hope this helps.

There is a Hobbytown USA in a strip mall just south of the Southcenter Mall too. I don't remember the name of the road but it runs parallel to and below the interstate. I think it's in the same parking lot as the Best Buy store. They have a halfway decent selection of diecast aircraft.

And don't forget the museum at Boeing Field at King County Airport, the Boeing store just north of it in the same airport, and the Boeing store at the museum at the Boeing plant at Paine Field in Everett.

The all have a good selection of aircraft but I don't recall the brands specifically.

There are very few stores left in Seattle, the afore mentioned replies have mentioned almost all. No one handles Phoenix. Basically a reflection of economic reality. Flight museum handles mostly Herpa 500 and some Gemini. Hobbytown is exclusively a Gemini retailer. Sad state of affairs in Jet City but that is the way it is. AK and PeeWee have told me that the American market leaves a lot to be desired

Thanks everyone for the tips. I went to both the Museum of Flight (King Co Airport) and Hobbytown in Tukwila (near Best Buy). I ended up buying 1/200 GJ Alaska MD-80 and 727-200 from Hobbytown and a 1/200 Hogan 787 from the Museum of flight. I'm going to wait until my trip to Hong Kong in two weeks to get some 1/400 Phoenix models.
