Default Problem with DW Models-Landing Gear

Hello Everyone,
I have just started my collections for China Airlines Aircrafts from about last week. As I began to bring in some of the new collections from Dragon Wings, Phoenix, and other manufacturers, I have noticed a problem that really disappointed me. On one of my favorite model, the China Airlines A330 Sweet Fruit from Dragon Wings, the nose gear tend to be really loose, while the landing gears on my China Airlines MD-11 from Dragon Wings tend to be really tight... Is this a normal problem with this manufacturer? Other than that problem, I personally really like the quality of Dragon Wings Models~ The plastic wings may look fragile, but they give me a realistic look~!

Second Question towards the Gear, Asked by Cathay Pacific B-HKD
I remember that when I had my first ever DW model I tried out the static mode and put in the landing gear doors, but they were stuck inside and up to this day I couldn't get it out. Never did static mode anymore with any other DW model after that experience. But still, that really ruined the model(it was a nice one too). Any idea on how to get the damn thing back out?

I don't know if it's normal but it can happen to any brand of diecast model. Using white glue (aka Elmer's in the US) usually gets round the issue.

Dragon Wings gear are desgined to be easily removed and replaced with the supplied gear bay covers to give an optional 'in flight' display mode on the provided stand. Therefore they are quite loose and in certain circumstances will fall out if you pick them up. As said, try some white glue or blu-tack.

Roger that! So it is not a problem~ It is a good design... but sometimes they mess it up and make it too loose~ but other than that, I love my China Airlines A330 Sweet Fruit!

It feels so good when seeing the perfect livery on the DW model, but so upset when the gear is so loose tho...

Try putting the model in the ice box of your refridgerator for a while, the covers should contract sufficiently and fall out. That's the theory anyhow...

Yes. But the rest of the plane would contract too, apparently....

They'll see it as the scroll down the page. So there is no point editing your own post and just to include someone else's.

Yes it does, but it sometimes does the trick, I've done it myself.
