Talking New AeroClassics releases to be announced tomorrow!

Message from my friend Luis Garcia at ADAMJets:

July, 2011 RELEASES from Aero Classics
The latest Round of NEW July, 2011 Releases from Aero Classics will be Available for "PRE-SALES" ordering.
Friday, the 8th of July, 2011 at 6:00PM EST.
Sorry there will be NO “Latin Classics” available for July, 2011!

Thanks, Andrew! After 3 months with lots of brazilian releases, finally I'll save some money this month!

Who cares? Why announce when an announcement will be? Today, tomorrow, next week.....this childish waiting game is really tedious.

That's a shame I was really hoping for something British in there. Know they've done a lot in the past, but would've liked something to spend my money on

Big deal . . waiting on Latin Classics . . . Hoping for the following - COPA 737-200 (Current colors) - That was a nice ride from SJO-PTY; also waiting on a 737-700 or -800 NG with winglets. If anyone makes the E90, it will mostly like be Herpa and in 1:500.

No need to guess who will make the E-190. It's a disappointment that no 1:400 ones will be made.

Won't be long before we see another wheel comes off the nose gear, more A320s with A321 wings. And the printing issues as always. I think even cockroach being stepped will be a bigger news than "Aerocrapssics" new releases.

Speak for yourself, Aeroclassics make by far the most interesting and well made models and have some of the best moulds too. I just wish they wouldn't waste their time with A320s and such. You can keep your modern stuff and collect Phoenix and the like but I'd keep your nose out of the classics kid coz you obviously are full of sht!

Interesting models... hmm... They are indeed very interesting because AC are trying to show people that some A320s and A321s flying around the world today have wings of other aircraft types and gears that are detachable when on the tarmac. They also prove how Boeing can do bad paint jobs on their customers! This shows how AC brings realism into the hobby(by showing people aren't robots and theres bound to be errors), so I understand why so many here like Aerocrapsics..

You are clearly an idiot if you think that the other manufacturers make no mistakes and unbreakable models with no QA issues - but as I said if you don't like 'em don't buy 'em - stop moaning and clogging up the forum with biased rubbish.

Did not say other companies don't have flaws. But they don't make the mistakes Aeroclassics does. Let's put it this way, no A320 in real life has A321 wings, no A320 has tyres coming off when taxiing on the tarmac, no aircraft has flaws on the paintjob of the airline livery. This doesn't mean AC models plagued with those issues are wrong, it is a sign of creativity by the people at AC who make these models. They probably wanted to show other people what a half A320 and A321 looks like, the only thing that's missing on the box is a "Fantasy Aircraft Type". And when there are printing issues with other models, I guess AC want to show others how they can modify the liveries of other airlines in a better way. Wheels coming of are just a matter of laziness or bad glue jobs as they rush through the production of the models just to have their afternoon tea earlier.

Those guys are admirable, as they fully utilize the privilege of having a brain. Sadly though, it is being put into use at a wrong direction. Backwards people is an apt term for them, simply making Aerocrapsics a backwards company too. And if you are that much of a hero to go defend AC, then you're a backwards person too.

Afraid you need to learn respect at your age, throwing insults at people and companies like that. Looks like you have not said anything constructive in your 9 posts on the forum, so about time you started!

Are you really 14? Don't you remember the Jetblue A320 landing at LAX a few years ago with a jammed nosegear? Even the "real" things have flaws.

Really, then can you show us if there are any GJ/PHX/HE/HG B77Ws with B772 wings? Or B762s with B763 wings? If so, show us. If not, then all I could do is to believe that you are bringing up random crap just to flame me. And if you don't like my style of posting, there is always an option to ignore it.

Like you said, the A320 wheel was jammed. It did not detach while rolling. Why don't people bother reading before they post?

Can I just excuse myself and ask..
Correct me if I am wrong.. Dont all A32X series family have the same wings?
The only difference is the tail height on the A318 to the rest of the family?

Except that the nose gear was turned sideways even before the touchdown. Tomass, do you comprehend on what I mean when I say wheels detach upon rolling on AC models, EVEN when it is not turned 90 degrees like N536JB?

I don't know.
I think AK has been doing a pretty good job on Asian releases. We've had lots of China and Japan and Thailand and...

Well, that does leave a lot of countries with a relatively small number of airlines. I think it could work.

I guess the real gold lay in the predecessor carriers to the ones we know today as the flag carriers in the Pacific. I plead ignorance in knowing some of them, but before we had Philippine and MAS and Garuda and all the rest, there were other carriers on those countries. Those could make interesting subjects.

You do have a point; For example, before MSA (Malaysia-Singapore Airlines) was formed, there's a airline operating in British Borneo (Sarawak,North Borneo & Brunei) named Borneo Airways. However, the name disappeared from history as it was absorbed by Malaysian Airways in 1965.

Talking Re: New AeroClassics releases to be announced tomorrow!

I'd like to see Aeroflot A319, A320 and A321 from Aeroclassics which isn't a really Asian focussed selection, so add Royal Brunei A319 and A320 to that. I'll take 'em, dodgy nose-wheels and all!

Another petulant teenager. Alas, where is Dylan when you need him?

Why so certain? Did you get yours kicked by him for no apparent reason? Thanks for the warning if so, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

You really are a piece of work. This issue is NOT only with Aeroclassics. And contrary to what you say it's NOT a glue issue either. The tires are fitted onto a small pin. These tires may at times fall loose from the pins from the thousands of miles of transport. They are really an easy fix or maybe you want to have your mom or dad do it for you. Just glue both ends of the visible pin at the center of the tires and they won't pop off again and this way you won't be bothering us here again. You're not really 14, are you?

It looks like that term applies to you. Yes, I did say that AC had gears detaching, but tell me. Where the fuçk did I say that other manufacturers don't have this issue. You don't need to show your great knowledge of 1:400 landing gears just to shut me up. If I really wanted to say only AC had detaching gears, I would've included it in this post. You come up and bark at people when you don't have the complete picture in your head. Not 98%, Not 99%, but the COMPLETE PICTURE, jerk...

The answer is sort of, but no. While the A321 has the same wing as the rest of the A32x family it does have different (double-slotted) flaps to cater for the increased weights of the type.
In 1:400, the visual difference in the wings would be seen with the extra actuator fairings for the double-slotted flaps on the A321 that aren't present on the other A32x's. The regular A318, A319 and A320 wing has three main actuator fairings. The A321 has these and between each are an extra pair of smaller fairings totalling six. So the A321 has a total of nine actuator fairings per wing.

Also note that Whiney Willie's whinging about mismatched A321 and A320 wings earlier in this thread completely misses the fact that only Aeroclassics could have made this mistake.
Why you ask? Well none of the other manufacturers bothers with a correct A321 wing. As such every non-Aeroclassics A321 in 1:400 is wrong from the get go if we want to look at it that way...

It's a tough world...

No, but then I don't come on here attacking other members, or swearing on the forum with attitude. I try to add value and help on here in a constructive manner. Try it sometime?

Don't bother with this guy Adrian. I tried giving him a quick and easy fix and he throws expletives at me like I'm his mother. The guy's a total whack-job.

I have had plenty of friend who have bought models from Phoenix, GJ, AV400 and others where the landing gear has fallen off. Does that mean those manufacturers are bad or not good at making models? No. It just means that they are not perfect and that once in a while stuff happens. Ive gotten some models that are far from perfect, but I try my best to fix them, a little glue here, a little glue there. I don't start cursing at the manufacturer just because one of their models was a little defective, it happens.

Right..
Thanks for that.. I didnt know all that. Great knowledge there.

And for the kid whos really not happy with the landing gear and wings.. If you dont like it... Why dont you just dont collect it and save your energy?
May be better to collect other stuff.

joe....
