A good month for 1:400. I gave quite the "Whoop!" when I saw that the US Saab was in the old colors, it should pair well with my CRJ-200! The Merpati, America West, and UAL are also on my list! Thanks Gemini!! Now, all we need is a Northwest Airline Saab 340 in the old red colors.

Yep, and the usual pile of US releases. I guess the recession is ending over there if they think the market is recovering.
Five months left in the year, will Gemini make good their promise to release Aeroflot CCCP registered Il-62M & Il-86 I wonder???

This lineup may not have as much variety as you'd prefer to see, but I have to say that I'm liking the fact that there are 11 releases, including that US Airways Express Saab, America West Fokker 70, and the Southwest 735. I'd love to pick me up two of those Saabs

No, I don't want it, I was just curious. Even $41 is a lot for a model that has been made a countless number of times.

Funny, when was this promise made? Totally missed it.

That said, just after I committed to buy a LOT of the Phoenix models this month, specifically believing that Gemini would yet again disappoint me, there are 6 of those that I have to eventually get
The Volaris, Southwest, America West, United, Merpati, and maybe the Emirates A345 to round out my Emirates fleet.

So, 4th Emirates A380 and at least the 2nd UPS 757. Yeah, there are some repeats here.

Then there is that Qantas 763. Gotta fit that into the budget too. Expensive month.

This subject has been discussed most extensively on 400SH so it is entirely possible you have missed it, funny or no.

Rod posted on 4/18/11 in Answer to Adrian's speculation in thread "LGW 11 - Gatwick Aviation Enthusiasts Fair, Crawley, UK Sun.Apr 17th 2011" about the Soviet era Aeroflot Il-62 with: "While Dan and Crownvic may have spoken the truth about some things, they were pulling your leg about the IL-62 this month. It will be out later in the year, but not this month!"
There has also been confirmation about the CCCP Aeroflot Il-86 being released by Rod notably in threads discussing the RA registered Aeroflot Il-86 which you can feel free to search for yourself.

So five months left in the year for two releases that will increase the total number of CCCP releases in 1:400 in the last TEN YEARS from six to eight. Gee, I feel real sorry for you only getting the same number of US releases every month or so.

Note that Nick's price is underlined. Put the item into your shopping cart, and just maybe something magical might happen.

So far as I can tell, the disease of the minimum advertisable price is spreading.

Nice to see the 737-500 mold back in service again, with the Continental last month and now Southwest! As a matter of fact, since I already have the WN "Shamu" and "Mustard Rocket" schemes done previously, all that's left is the four United schemes (Saul Bass/Large Titles, Battleship, United white/blue, and UA/CO) and I'll have every US operator and paint scheme for the 735!

So, I do have fairly high hopes for a UA 735 next month... please!

I wouldn't want that model even if it were free. To me, it's not worth the air it displaces.

Was really hoping the UPS MD-11 was going to be the "updated" MD-11 mould, like the Finnair Cargo version, but this release doesn't look much like it is!! Or am I wrong?

well, OK. I don't want it either; I don't want 90% of what's released. We all have our collection themes.

I'm just saying that there might be more (or less) to Nick's price on that and other models, than what might at first appear.

We all have our ways depending on the software that we use whether discount codes, hidden prices, sales via email etc..., the big gripe is publicly advertised price. In the end it's all just a gimmick that is a pain for everyone from top to bottom.

At least one model for me (Merpati F-100), so I'm happy. Although I wonder if I'll ever see an interesting Saab release from GJ...

On the 1/200 side the SAS CRJ900 looks stunning ! Too bad it wouldn't fit my collection.

And people, keep up the Merpati F-100 sales, if they have good sales, then I can throw more money and continue to make more models that haven't been released!!!

P.S. Use the MERPATI discount code for a special savings off your entire order!!!

Lots of people here whine about how the manufacturers have dared to not make some model that they would really love.

In contrast, waffle put his money where his mouth is, and made it happen.

restrictions on the advertised price are anti-consumer. I'll not stop buying Aeroclassics or Gemini because of it, but I think less of them. Which in the end means nothing. Oh well.

It is important to have the facts in order while banging one's head against the brick wall.
The tricky bit is retaining the optimism... Sometimes it is trickier than others.

I really hope that GJ will considering doing B737-500 in MH livery; so far that's the only type that not yet being released (the other was B732,734,738 by other company)

Probably I'm considering the Merpati F100 and Air Do B735 in my wish list.
