Pretty poor. You would think they would provide some sort of feedback. Hopefully it does go through, I need my airbus umbrella with all this rain. When did the sale start? Surely They would have A computer System that would indicate when an item is out of stock and prevent over ordering.
I mailed them but still no answer. Go TURKISH, buy the 748 not the A388 :P

The way i see it, they do have automated inventory update, which means the link and picture to the products will disappear once the product is sold out.
If you visit the page, The A340, A320, A380 and some other links in the model section already disappeared.

I had the order error first time, just do it again, it will work 2nd time! And you only get charged for the orders that weren't canceled

Appreciate the feedback, but for folks that tried the first time and with many items sold out and removed from the site, it is too late I would imagine.

I got chatting to some Airbus guys at a trade show the other day who didn't say yes and didn't say NO either when I asked about a new corporate look potentially coming out. They didn't know anything about the online shop issue though, but did hand me a free Dragon Wings BA A380 model and a bag of goodies.

I think you will find they vastly oversold what they had, and are trying to work out the flood of orders they received, you wont be charged until its dispatched..

Indeed, I do believe they had a '*while stocks last' caveat on the sale as well.
We shall see. I wouldn't waste time getting bent out of shape about it though. If they can't supply the goods they won't charge for them. Simple as that.
A few people here are just sooo precious though.
Update/some good news regarding the Airbus shop bargain sale:
I received a USPS "Sorry we missed you, come get your package Delivery Notice" Saturday, June 4 for my Airbus order. Apparently it required a signature being an international parcel. In addition there was an invoice in a separate envelope saying that my entire order (consisting of 7 different models) had been filled and would be billed to my CC.
I placed my order on 22-May and it looks like many placed theirs a day or so before that, so hopefully everyone gets their complete order.
Interesting part is the Airbus Online Shop still lists my status as "Processing."
My status is also Processing. It was signed delivery so I think the status will change to Complete when they get the status from DHL.
Here is how to track your packet:
- Go to http://dhl.de/en.html
- Press +Reference from below the Shipment number box
- Write in the Reference box: 000XXXXXXXXX/1 (XXXXXXXXX is your 9 digits order number)
- Press Search now

It's likely that DHL isn't the carrier for all shipments. For example, someone else in the thread in the US had a USPS "sorry we missed you" card delivered.
ewww. I checked my order numbers through DHL and they indicate that they have been delivered. Well I live in Australia, and the delivery was not in Australia. I still have hope, haha.

Well, I just checked. According to DHL, my package has hopped on one of their pretty yellow planes and is 'en route to the destination country'. Whew! Im glad that all worked out

A box came today via Parcelforce. Of the 3 items I ordered, only the Messenger bag arrived. I didn't order any planes because I could only get some, not all of the ones I wanted. I wonder if the sweatshirt and keyring will arrive, or if thats it?

What shall we do? Mail or call them and say that we want the other ones and wait or shall we just be happy with what we've got? I got a A321 and A319 Corporate (Ordered the whole family) and also got only 2 polos of the 4. Also didn't get the jacket and magnets... The remove before flight is a present, everyone who orders gets that for free..

Every order receives a 'Remove before flight' tag for free. It says so on the web shop site. I think that if it isn't in the box then you aint gonna get it. Most of the products are now sold out.
Well Im not saying that I dont like the tag . But I should have/be getting my other products, as people who ordered a day or so after me, who ordered some of the planes I am missing, have received them.
