Some kind of nasty infection going around, making some people snarly. But there is a point here...why are you asking what to buy next? A little research and you will probably find a lot of models that will make you wet your pants to own them. It's hard to suggest anything if nobody really knows what your taste is or your collecting criteria.

Well my taste is kind of general, so im pretty much open to any idea. I know there are a lot of good models out there, but some are better than others, and I would rather rely on the input of buyers rather than pictures or what the seller is telling me.

Your taste may be general but you will find that others around here have a varied taste or interest and some are more critical and nitpicky than others. You pose a very open-ended question.
Any suggestions as to what I should buy next? Thanks I appreciate your input!
this is actually a very good question despite what other people on this thread have said.
here is a list of things you can purchase for your next model(s). A lot of them are cheap. One or two of them are really rare. Especially the Tiger a320 from Phoenix.

I agree.
Here's a great opportunity to assist a collector who may be new to the hobby and would like some guidance.
You never know but with genuine replies, other collectors might have shared their good and bad experiences regarding certain manufacturers or types and others might have also learned something but instead it is met with sarcastic replies like 6 year old girls.
BTW, this thread could have been so much better but instead we are constantly bombarded with all those inane wish list threads or those ridiculous GJ poem hints threads (but they're ok right!)

Thanks for the good words, unlike some other people on this thread. By the way, Im not new to this hobby in the slightest
How many planes, what are they and how much are you asking? Im intrigued..
The link to all my planes is in my sig. you can also find a photo of pretty much every one I have, http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...nt-models.html. I was kind of joking but the right price could tip me over as I really need some cash to work on my car. If you go by market value then about 12-1500u.s

Well, if you don't know what to buy, but you feel like you have to.....
Just search on the Web, or browse on Ebay.
I can't imagine that there will be no models which could have your interest.
Otherwise, check the database here on DA.C in your field of interest and when you have seen model(s) which interest you, just search on Ebay or websites of retailers to see if that specific model is available.
And when it's not, there is always other interesting stuff.
When i just started in collecting, i did exactly the same.
In fact i am still doing it, althought now i browse all the stocklists and new releases of the mayor manufacturers for models of interest to add to my store.
Good luck.
John

This thread has been going on for a few days now. I think he made up his mind by now as to which model to buy, if not, then he should seek another hobby. This is a pointless thread, can someone lock it already and throw away the key.

Yeah, I agree with you. This thread is stupid and pointless and I should have never started it. I have figured out what i will buy next though. Another hobby? Thats crazy talk! Can the moderators please delete this thread?
A 1:400 scale model of a 1:43 scale model GAZ-13 Chaika, with full interior details and V8 engine, and with complimentary Mini-gun in the trunk. I probably would go for one, would be damn awesome if someone could pull that off (and I've heard similar things have been done for quite some time already too!)
