Oh crap, another boring CI A330?!!!!!!!!! C'mon!
I hoped for a Delta A330-200 at least. ...

Anyways, it's great to FINALLY see a Jetstar A320 in 1:400 again, and for sure, glad to see an Air Asia A320 in normal livery (about time).

As with all Phoenix CX releases, it will most likely be a 'secret' i.e not officially announced.

A good set of releases this month! Will the QANTAS B787 reg# be the real deal or did they pick it out of a hat?

PHX should make China Eastern A330-200 instead. Looks like the scale of Dec release is much more shrinked than the Nov release

Damn it. I wish those two house livery 787s were 1:400 ...

And if I'm not mistaken, this is the first 787-9 model - definitely in 1:400 scale, but possibly a first among all models, too. But I'm not going to buy it ... still a fantasy aircraft at the moment, as the 787-9 hasn't flown, and no registration has been assigned to that aircraft yet. I don't buy fantasy models.

Phew...maybe just the qantas 787-9 for me. I'm surprised that it's been released so early. Anyone know when qantas are due to receive their 787s?

Very interested in 3 of the 4 A330s for this month. Very happy to see that Phoenix finally made an Air Asia 320 in the regular scheme.

Is it me, or is the window line painted too high on the Thai A330s?

The window line is fine, it's like that on the real thing as well.

Comparing the images, I'd say it is painted too high even if its only by 1 or 2mm. The window line should be lined up to the bottom of the flight deck windows while the Phoenix models have them aligned near the top...more evident on HS-TEO model. And the last set of the exit doors on both models are practically touching the base of the tail.

Then again, maybe its the angle of the picture that making me see things different.

Somewhat a break this time from PHX except the Air Asia A320 which is definitely tempting.

not such a great bang to the end of the year really! just the 'Jetstar' A320 for me,

Shocked to see the QF 787-900 the plane won't even fly for another 5 years!

Air New Zealand are the Launch customer for the 9 - series and the earliest there getting them is late 2014. but rumour is that Boeing will give another delay on the program before the year out.

VH-ABC is on the CASA register as a DeHavilland DH-82A since 2006. Me thinks they picked the Phoenix rego out of a hat.

Another boring round of Asian-biast releases from Phoenix. Are they aware that other parts of the world want models of their airlines?

Biased*

That's what Gemini Jets is for. Asian airlines are mostly ignored by Gemini Jets, so Phoenix is just filling in a gap in the market. Sure, I'd love for all model companies to release more different models, so that there is more choice - if Phoenix ever made a BA 777 I'd buy it in a flash, for instance. But Asian carriers is Phoenix's niche, just as American carriers are Gemini's niche.

Anyway, I didn't think Qantas, Jetstar nor TUIfly were Asian ...

And she was also registered as a Short S-23 Empire Boat back in 1938. The 789 is a long way off yet so it's not too surprising I suppose.

I wonder if Phoenix will do some mould sharing with Gemini for the A330? Would be great to see a US Airways and Delta bird on a more accurate mould.

Biast means one-sided, not total. QANTAS is Australasia anyway!

O... I agree with StarAlliance Flyer, the window line of Thai Airways International's A330-300E does seem to be too high, even when compared to the real picture.

Nevertheless I will purchase the China Airlines A330-300 and Thai Airways A330-300E for December.

Well... I'm struggling on whether I should buy the New MacBook Air or those two new airplanes!

Moreover, why should Phoenix make up a registration for the Qantas 787-9? Why is it so urgent and rush to release this model?

Particularly the Entry Into Service (EIS) of end-2013 is unquestionably going to be impacted by the potential seventh delay.

http://www.aspireaviation.com/2010/1...seventh-delay/

Regarding the 1:200 787 N787BA, I hope Phoenix will get it right this time and will not print the navigation light on the slats!

Yet another A300-600 for an airline that didn't operate the type, VH-TAA was an A300B4-203 I believe. Looks like both of the Qantas's are fantasy models!!

The TUIfly looks nice though.

I'm no expert at spotting A300 versions, but what makes you think it's a -600 but for the caption that the opening poster put on it? The A300-600 had little wing endplates, right? The model doesn't appear to have them. So perhaps it is actually an A300B4-200 labelled incorrectly?

The TUIfly looks nice though.
I think if we can see the picture magnified it is a B4-203 as there are no wingtip fences. QF inherited the Australian Airlines B4-203s but never operated B2s or -600s.

I,ll take the TUI Fly 738- Thai A330 - Jetstar A320- China Airlines A330 - and Air Asia A320 but this is between 2 months releases which is pretty dissapointing from phoenix, I think they could have finished the year with a bigger bang.

I already have the 787 with logos and thats nice enough for me, Aussies will be happy with the Qantas 787-900 but its a wasted release as its so far off 1:1 and a false reg#, Aw well, we know when it comes to phoenix fantasy sells.

Hopeing for Sri Lnakan A330 in january, with a few other asian gems, Wouldnt even mind letting the latins have there much wished for TAM 777.

Nice to finally see the Thai A333s even if the windows look a bit high. The other two A333 announcements are tempting too.
I see all three engine manufacturers are represented!

Here's hoping for an under-the-radar Cathay A333 release as well!

I wondered when Phoenix can release the China Eastern B737-800 B-5475 of "enshi" color and China Eastern B737-700 with Yunnan Airline logo for us.

Will it be next year?

Nice releases, but nothing for me now...
Maybe I'll get the Boeing 787s in house colors already released, but only the ones in 1:400 scale!

At least it is interesting to me as I've been waiting for a CI livery to be made with an accurate nose and cockpit window.

I also urge Phoenix to bring on the garuda, korean and phillipines A330 eventually.

A Sri Lankan A330/A340 would be lovely along with Royal Brunei B777, Oman Air A330, Kingfisher A330, Qantas A380 + a few other nice liveries.

Thankfully a light month (first time in a while!) from Phoenix.
Just a Thai and the China Eastern for me.

I couldn't agree more!

Meanwhile, in contrast to the discussion here, the 1:400 Phoenix Dragonair A320 has already been released secretly for about a month now and has largely been sold out!

Nice to see AirAsia A320 AHL Normal Livery for this month release. My instinct next month release would be A330 AirAsia speacial livery

Phoenix will release both AirAsia Indonesia A320 PK-AXE with AirAsia A320 9M-AHL this month? Look at their boxes.
