Default Hints for you to ponder

Happy Fall to our Northern brethern and Happy Spring to you below the Equator. Its time for the next edition, of whats coming sooner rather than later.

400 scale
Behind Door Number one, we have a big eleven, that was lots of fun.
There are a few classics that are really great, one in particular if your a fan of the 8, this shiny workhorse is no longer new, but it sure looks great with its cargo buddy blue.

There are four widebodies this time it is true, but dont be angry if some are a redeux, Clipper flight two this one could have done, but where ever it went, it flew in the Sun.

You wingletted fans have been crying for this, but I'll you what, she's a fine looking young Miss.

A spicy young Saab and a smaller dot dash, will always make you think of cornbread and hash.

You 200 fans will stare with a wonder, what is that fine dash from deep down under?
This pride of the Air Force is tough and sometimes mean, but it will stand proud as the second C17.

Two busses of wonder you shall now come see, but why is it that they speak
Portugese?

You Boeing fans also don't fret, you will love this shiny polished jet.
Its newer blue cousin has winglets its true, but I think it will show up
at Schiphol, #2

And finally for you fan of the Aces, This Spitfire is coming so you can remember their faces

I wanna say KLM 737 with winglets but I think that has been done already?

Also, quick question these are Nov releases?

Thanks!

Sounds like some good 1:400 stuff this month! Fingers crossed!

The Big 11 is an MD-11 probably. If it was a lot of fun then it is no longer in service so it is most likely a pax MD-11. Fans of 8... DC-8? Shiney workhorse, American. With it's buddy blue, not sure. Pan Am clipper is one, not sure which Aircraft. Wingletted fans, hmm probably a 767WL. And since HA, LA, DL and DHL have been made, that leaves Austrian!

I have no idea about the Saab and Dash 8.

A big eleven that's lots of fun, hummmm: PSA L 1011 with a polished belly?

Widebody, clipper, then probably a Pan AM 747-100 redux?

"You wingletted fans have been crying for this, but I'll you what, she's a fine looking young Miss." - I have been crying for an Emirates A340-500, this must be it!

The SAAB is a Delta I believe.

But Rod says 'Behind Door number One' so that tells me BAC ONE-ELEVEN and 'big' would mean the stretched 500 Series, so hopefully the much requested BEA red square livery.

Rod has just said they have lost access to the DC-8-33 mould, but I guess they still can do the stretched DC-8-61s ?

Question Re: Hints for you to ponder

No picture of the Condor 753 yet. I assume that this will be the one with winglets as the Hawaiian 763 doesn't have them...

Oh, Rod I see you guys have missed out A6-EDC from the fleet...
Seriously, can you guys use your older A380 mould with the blunt nose? This newer mould looks like the nose has been stretched a bit.

I was waiting for someone to mention the re-releases. Sure those four have already been released. However, a total of 11 models were released. Only four are re-releases. Leaving 7 models that are new to the market. So it is basically like any other month without re-releases.

True, and I must admit that Delta Saab 340 looks pretty darn nice.

P.S.-I forgot to mention the FedEx 777.

You guys have to realize, sometimes the re-releases are done at the request of the airline.
The UAE A380, and HA B767s are some of our best selling models. These airlines have taken thousands of them. If they ask for more, we aren't going to turn them down.

I particularly like that the number of re-releases did not affect the number of new releases, that way Gemini has refreshed the line up while keeping up with the corporate contracts. I welcome the CO 772 from those, and from the new ones I'm getting two for sure. Maybe also that nice Delta, and hope for other releases in the Dash 8-100 which is a nice surprise.

My disappointment is nor seeing the EK 345 nor a TAM 320 in 1:200

c'est la vie! Mais c'est pas trop mal

So Rod, for the EK A380s. Are you gonna release all 120?

Not really. Just a slightly humorous way of saying: "Nothing for me this month".

I don't think there was anything posted that even hinted the possibility of an Emirates A340 this month.

I'm actually somewhat interested in the little american regional jets. Dunno if I'll be getting them or not though. We'll see.

There's little to no getting through to most who post with confusion or even anger with they see a re-released subject.

Just start the record player and let it spin, and spin.

. I know. I was just me getting all aroused every time I read "wingleted lady" in Rod's hints. I know my chances seem slim.

Ditto on the A380 comment.

I'm pretty excited about the Delta Saab and the US Airways Dash 8! I can't wait for a Horizon, a Jazz and an Island Air box set with all three of the island schemes. (ok the last one is a fever dream, but why not right? I'd buy two of them if they came out.)

I don't care what someone IS going to get or ISN'T going to get. For the most part people saying "nothing for me" or "ohhh a Hawaiian 767 again?" is just annoying.

Before anyone says "well don't read the post" it's kinda tough when every other 13-17 year old posts the same thing.

You're 100% right, they're NOT very good releases....they're very GREAT releases! That FT DC-8 is a holy grail for me! Although the GJ 707 mould pales in comparison to the AC, I'll be getting the Pan Am Cargo, and that PA SP? Oh hell yes! My 7 month GJ drought is over. Now as much as I detest the GJ 721, if they were to follow up with a FT 721, I would get that as well....

Newfster, thanks for agreeing with me.

Looks like GJ has totally handed over the intention of releasing of any Asian airliners to Phoenix!

Would love to see GJ re-release Philippine Airlines B777-300ER again with correct registration too.

The HA 763W has been very popular. In some ways I can see why there's a re-release, but not this soon. I was hoping for the Austrian 76W myself....

I'm hopeful we'll get to see the E190/195s for Christmas as well as LH & BA Airbus narrowbodies.

If you got it, post it. Until you do, you don't have it.

OH. MY. GOSH. It's SO beautiful! I got to fly on the Q for the short amount of time it was in the islands and I've got to say I was crushed when Island Air had to return them. I WANT THIS!

Really? I missed that one! I'm a college student so vast amounts are out of the question but I'm interested. Want to PM me?
