I too have a soft spot for Finnair, although I've only managed to pick up one model so far (Santa 757). I had a nice trip to Helsinki last November on a job and discovered it to be a really great city. Must get get back sometime soon...

A pleasure to watch all the photos, thanks a lot. Specially enjoyed seeing the DC-9s in the old colour scheme as well as the B757 which is a regular summer visitor at Toronto.

Hello Gunan, I see you only have one of the Aeroclassics Convair 440s listed. OH-LRF is a short-nosed variant with 50th Anniversary titles that you should add. Also hopefully we will see some Finnair Caravelles, which are badly needed. Before anyone jumps in and says they were 'Super Caravelle 10s', Finnair operated three Series IIIs OH-LEA-'LEC and one Series 6, OH-LED, before they got the Supers.

As a Finnish I mainly collect Finnair models so it is great to see your Finnair fleet.
I have almost every released one, only some MD-11’s missing. I also have three custom models. Hopefully there will be some new releases soon, specially Caravelles.

I think GJ is better than DW. DW’s plastic wings are more detailed, but GJ’s painted metal wings feels better. GJ has a bit more detailed fuselage painting.

GJ on top

A fantastic fleet of the airlines aviation history. I am trying to find one MD-11 for my collection (DW55955) but i can't find anywhere who has one for sale. If any of you have one or know a site i can get it from, i would appreciate it if you would inform me. I am also after (DW55388) which is a swissair MD-11 with blue belly. any chances of getting them both would be brilliant. Anyone who can help me should accept my many thanks for doing so. Best wishes

Very nice! I had the 757 for a time. I sold it to a fellow from India, took nearly a month to get there. Very nice comparison pictures between the two A340s. Might have to chase one of those down someday! Really nice work on fleet building that lot, some really rare birds in there!

I don't have a airport mat so these are as white as my earlier photos.

I love 'Eurowhite'. I think it looks really clean and crisp.

You definately need this one to add to your fleet.

Well, thanks, but maybe not that one.

But anyway, now there is definetly too many A340s and I must also buy both new Angry Birds models. So hopefully something else is coming next.

Yeah, but it seems that every carrier wants to paint their aircraft in as much "eurowhite" as possible. It is becoming too much.

Thanks so much for sharing your FI fleet with us! What an amazing collection you have. I have to say I have a soft spot in my heart for the Finnair a/c with the cheat line scheme. Those are really some beautiful birds (especially the D9X, MD80, MD-11s). The most recent and new scheme is not bad but far from being close to my favorite or something I would give an A or B too. I give it a straight C. Lacks creativity and is boring. Perhaps if the winglets/wingtips and engine cowlings had been painted blue and the belly, this would greatly help these birds out in the looks department.

I'm hoping we'll see the MD-11s released again, I especially would like one with the cheat line and another with Santa, as well as the 757.

Who do you think will come out with their A32X fleet? It's anybodies guess who will come out with the E-Jets at this point. Disappointing.
