I much prefer the early THY scheme with red/white pin-striped cheatline and there are just not enough models released in that livery. I find the cuurent 'Euro-white fuselage' scheme boring.

We need a THY DC-3, Viscount, DC-7, Fokker F27, Fokker F28, Boeing 707 and Boeing 727-200 all in the early red/white pin-striped livery!

DC-8s still needed to be done in 1/400: UAT, Iberia ('80s scheme), Air Ceylon, Air Spain, Seaboard World (-63CF)

Aeroclassics Comets still missing- Dan Air (4 & 4C), United Arab Airlines/Misrair/Egyptair, Kuwait AW, Sudan AW, East African AW, Saudi Royal Flt.

I really love all the THY schemes but the cheatline was the best and longest of this time , nearly applied 40 years till to early 90s.
Small World offers THY B727 cheatline livery in 1:200 scale. I want to order one soon...i hope
We need also DASH 7 in THY cheatline livery ... posting the pics for you.
Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for those pics. I purposely didn't mention the DASH 7, as there is no 1/400 mould for it, whereas Aeroclassics has moulds for all the others.
Thanks also for posting the pics of the Tucano Line DC-10 in THY colours, as I had forgotten about that one and immediately found one on German E.Bay so now have this beauty on its way!

My Tucano THY DC-10 arrived yesterday and I'll take a photo when I can. The cockpit printing could be better and it would benefit from havinga polished belly, but it's not bad and I'm pleased to add it to my collection. Being released in 2003 and only 499 made, I was lucky to find this one!

Great Turkish airlines fleet! Thanks for sharing. Now 1½ years later, did you expand your THY fleet? If yes, can you share your new THY models?
