Default Hogan 1/400 747-8F in Dreamliner Livery

I just picked up the 747-8F 1/400 Hogan in the Boeing Dreamliner livery today. Really nice! I'll have pictures later today.

Too bad there will never be a 747-8 in Deamliner livery.

Yes, but this is going to be just a fantasy livery. The real B747-8F has got a different livery...

True, but I like this better than the one on the 747-8F right now besides most Boeing planes that get a special paint job gets repainted in the livery of the airline that buys it. It is a really nice model too

No, not with only one airline having ordered it.

I hope to see a 747-8I in Lufthansa colors from Hogan/Herpa in 1:400 soon!

Your -8F looks great! Will you get the Hogan -8F Atlas Air model, too?

Just noticed on wingsworld.cn website that these now have spinning blades in the engine? This is going to get interesting. Looks like the new releases of the 400 scale B747-8, B747-8F and A380 all have spinning blades.

I got the Atlas Air 747-8 and it does have spinning fan blades. It's great! I also got this model but in 1/200 scale and I love it! If it wasn't for the fact that they take so much space, I would try to go to the 1/200 collecting better...but for now I'll stick to this...

They went with a 'light' livery on the first one. That doesn't mean you won't see the full dreamliner livery on a 748F, ever. It could, it could not.

but these are among the reasons i don't like to buy a model until that corresponding plane is in service.

Personaly I think that models having spinning blades is quite a detail. But if I had it my way, I would have retractable gears on my 1/200 models since asking for the 1/400 would be TOO MUCH to ask...

I just received my copy and it is a beautiful model.
My version is the B748i.

The mould is crisp and the printing is top rate.
Wing flex is representing in-flight but not a show stopper and looks super sitting next to my B787 Roll-out version and Dreamlifter.
Worth every cent I paid and thanks to aerosupply for the super quick shipping and service.

Nope, only Hogan and it is a corker.
The Phoenix 747's are terrible to be generous so they need not waste zinc.

It would be cool to see GJ make it! Hopefully they don't screw up the #1 engine on this mould like they did on the 744

I don't understand why it would be cool for GJ to do this when the HG version is already available and so damn good.
I seriously doubt they could better this version.

Mr N787BA,

Check West Main Toys in Hong Kong.
They have the 748i Intercontinental and the 748F Freighter for sale.

I know this because I have just ordered the 748 freighter to sit alongside my 748i.
Can't cope with unmatched pairs.

Great looking model. I can't wait for the 748 to start flying. And for models of it coming out.

Me neither. I will get this one if I can find it in the US, but I do hope that they will come out with a "light" livery Freighter, like the real one.
