I agree these aircraft manufactorers need to make more smaller models but they would be tiny.

They have A320s, A300s, A332s and ERJ170s as well - all would be most welcome 1:400 scale models.

Man, how many Gulfstream posts do you need?! lol

Would be nice to see some globals and 605's as well as Legcay's. Hell, throw in some BBJ/BBJ2's, Elites/Prestiges/ACJ's, and Lineage's that aren't in house livery!

I like the G650 "Gulfstream" for sure. Its much larger than the original GII/III/IV/V series....but do like the Saudia GII colors. That aircraft has since been sold and is now with a private owner.

Yeah, I tried giving this idea to Gj for 200, and they said that a private plan will not sell. I disagree completely on that, I think they would be a great seller. There are so many great looking private jets out there that have yet to be made, it would be nice to see some of them!

I thought that this was a hobby about airlines, not some company's overpriced toy, which has nothing to do with the airline business.

Im sure people have different views on what this hobby is about...

This forum isnt called Diecast airline forum, its called diecast AIRCRAFT forum, which applies to every aircraft.. not only airliners

Well, what colors/tail # do you propose they do these corporate birds in? GJ or whoever would need permission from each and every owner to copy a paint scheme and use the rego. Most companies don't want the public to even know that they have a private jet, let alone have some company market it as toy. It's an idea that just wouldn't be profitable to to the manufacturers.

That might be ok, but 99% of "House Color" Gulfstreams (and others) are actually Customer aircraft leased back as a demo-bird. For 4 years we had a G200 that was in House Colors, and carried a Reg of N303GA, even had the big "G200" on the tail......but from day one it was owned by a hote/prperty developer. Don't get me wrong Herb, I would LOVE some corporate metal, but it does get a bit tricky when dealing with regs. 80% of my company's fleet isn't even trckable on flightaware.com......the owners don't want ANYBODY to know where they're going or what they're doing.

Speaking with Elliott Epstein of GJ on the subject, he confirmed that we would never see a corporate bird other than the already made BBJ (stellar job too) and possibly an ACJ A-319.....and noted the obove reasons why.

I got you Dyan....just try to go spotting at Teterboro on hangar row! Privacy is very important to their owners. Perhaps some leasing company aircraft...Netjets for example? They're fractional or charter, but company still have an identity. Would love to have a Falcon 7X

How about government owned ones? I'm sure there are many governments that use some type of converted business jets.

Like NOAA's Gulfstream IV or Cessna Citation.

Well Herb, I fly into TEB about once every other month. Next time I'm there, I'll drop you a line. They tow the plane right off the end of 06 and I just sit in the back of the PC-12 with the cargo door open and shoot till my heart's content. Nobody messes with you when you have a badge! Plus, the line guys know me and we can get a van ride around the line. We'll have to get together next time I'm in town.

Oh, and I pulled up next to a spanking-new 7X at IAD in May......concur! Very cool airplane (winglets on a Falcon still take some gettig used to)

What a great perk in addition to flying.... The amount of bizjets at TEB is a treasure trove of photo ops for the enthusiast (and pilots)! Dassault was kind enough to send their most recent brochures. Gorgeous airplanes. Please give me a heads up when youre around again. Work will slow down after late September. Also might be able to make it to the Newark show if I can get away.

Gulfstreams, Falcons, Citations,....Pipers, Cessnas,....1:400/1:500....Yes, it's possible.
These models are very small but great in our collection. I realy like to do custom models, especially the general aviation.

You should look harder, they had a fleet of 737-200s after experimenting with the DC9. Some even graduated to the current scheme.

Every body, I have spoken to WMAQUETES and has said that if we can raise 700-800 orders who could make a die-cast mold, if this happens we should be able to get G650 in hundreds of different liveries.

Please............................................ .......

If you would order one post a quick reply with YES or NO
