Hi, this is my first attempt at taking pictures of 1/400 models so I apologise if they are not up to the standard of others. I received this model yesterday from ARD & she is a real beauty. I noticed that there are no pictures of this model in the db of this aircraft, so DAC/Wings900 are welcome to use it if they wish until there are some better ones.
Enjoy.

Will need to get one of these.
However dragonwings PanAm Strat for comparison. At least the fuselage is metal.

Funny how the DW has a metal fuselage, but plastic wings...and the AC is the opposite. BTW, looks like your cheat lines are jagged in the middle. I got rid of my DW when I got the AC because the detail was better. Didn't care about the plastic body.

The Dragon Wings and Aeroclassics Stratocruisers are like chalk and cheese. I hated the DW version with its poor cockpit window printing and it was a constant tail-sitter, so sold it knowing a better one was in the making.

I don't have the DW one, but looking at the picture above with its cockpit & JC wings nose wheel I do prefer the AC one also. However, my one and only Corgi 1/440 model is that of the above Pan Am Stratocruiser.

Oh yes I have seen a West African one I'd like to get. Never had one of these aircraft before, I so I suppose I'd better start somewhere!!
