Default Searching for Aeroclassics Mexicana B 727-264A 1:400 - ACMEX727 - ID#12289

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and somewhat new to collecting diecast aircraft. Hoping to buy the Aeroclassics Mexicana B 727-264A 1:400 - ACMEX727 - ID#12289. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone selling one or know where I could buy one (at a reasonable price, of course).
Thanks!

Have you looked on e-Bay?

Even if there is nothing there right now, you can save your search and e-Bay will send you an e-mail when something one comes up for sale.

Most of the time, it will be a "Buy It Now" item, which means just that. If it's an auction, I wouldn't bid at all until the very end as to not draw interest to the item by multiple people bidding. Then at the end, bid the absolute highest amount you're willing to pay. The system won't raise your bid any higher than neccessary to win the item. So if the current bid is $20, and your willing to pay up to $50, just bid $50. If nobody else bids, you will actually get the item for $21. Sorry, if you actually knew this, most people don't seem to.

By the way, I just noticed that a Jet-X Mexicana B727 has been recently added to the database. I have no idea how good Jet-X models are, or the 727 in particular, but since it's an upcoming model, you should be able to get one much cheaper than an out of production and popular model.

Thanks to everyone for their prompt replies and suggestions. I have saved the search on ebay, so cross your fingers.

The Jet-X MXA 727s are all in 1:200 scale. Database error there.

OZavala,

I don't think you'll have much luck on eBay. This model has become too rare to be able to get it there at a reasonable price. I estimate you would end up paying between $250 and $300 for this model on eBay right now.

Your best bet probably is to try to get it directly from a collector. I heard of one being sold in this way at about $160 a few months ago. If you are able to get it for less than that, you would be extremely lucky.

Try asking if someone wants to sell one on fsmex.com. Many Mexican collectors are members of that forum.

Ozavala,
Right now there are two for bid in e-Bay at a reasonable price for what they are worth (around $250 average). Hope this helps.

There's nothing like reviving a 6+ year old thread.....and that's the last time that guy posted here as well. I doubt he'll answer if he got the model or not.
