What's the point of doing a Quebecair BAC 1-11 in this scheme as it has already been done by Aeroclassics and they did a great job? JC Wings need to concentrate on BAC 1-11 liveries not done, but much wanted like British Eagle, Swissair leased from BE, VASP or Cascade Airways

Speaking of which, I would LOVE to see a 1-11-200 in bare metal USAir colors on one of the new generation molds. The AC 1st Gen just doesn't compare to the new AC and GJ molds...

Perhaps people missed out on the Aeroclassics release and would like the model?
AC did the Ansett Cargo Electra's on what is frankly, a less-effective and accurate Electra mould, after Jet-X had done them on their somewhat more accurate mould.
Don't remember too many complaints there.

F70 for me! JC has become the AC alternative for price and quality....some may not like it but the Britannia, FOkker and BAC are pretty good considering the price advantage.
I have the ANA F-50, and I like that modell very much (except for the broken front wheel and the silver props). But are the F-70/F-100 the same as those from Gemini??
And I would love to see a F-50 in KLM Cityhopper new colours.

Cascade Airways in deed.
As eveyone knows Gemini Jets and Aeroclassics have produced models of both the BAC1-11 201AC and the 401AK. The following aircraft represented all went on to serve with Cascade Airways.
Aeroclassics:
British United BAC1-11 201AC 009 G-ASJI. It went on to serve Cascade Airways as N102EX. It was in service from September 1984 to December 1986.
Pacific Express BAC1-11 201AC 010 N103EX. It went on to serve Cascade Airways as N103EX. It was in service from October 1984 to January 1986.
Gemini Jets:
American BAC1-11 401AK 089 N5043. It went on to serve Cascade Airways as N218CA. It was in service from October 1984 to March 1986.

You are kidding? I walked into one UK Dealers shop last week and was confronted with a shelf full of Quebecair BAC-111s and plenty come up on E.Bay at good prices!

Who mentioned Electras? The two Electra moulds may have their differences, but with the BAC 1-11s there is not much to choose between the GJ and AC moulds. Both have small inaccuracies for the nitpickers, but both are quite acceptable so there is no advantage in producing an identical livery on either mould, especially when this is only a local airline.

I think the price advantage does come into play as well. Granted now there are some AC sales but just a few months ago you could not secure your favourite AC release below $30 with shipping. In these times every dollar makes a difference!
