I just received from a local seller, the Ariana Afghan Airlines '727, made by Gemini/Schuco yesterday.

What a fabtastic model, seriously!!

It's right there next to my Iraqi, Iranian and Pakistani models now!!

(although, being a chunk of metal, it probably won't have any political interests whatsoever, seeing as it's .... err ... a lump of metal!)

Yes, I have one of those also. There are plenty around and going quite cheap on E.Bay. Do you also have the lovely Aeroclassics MEA Boeing 707, 747 and Convair 990s to complete your 'model hotbed'?
