Default What was your first air plain?

My first plane was a Gemini Jets NWA B 757-300 old livery.

The only reason I pick NWA is because I live 1hr from there Hub in Detroit MI.

1st 400th was a BOAC 707, PA 707, Air France 707, and Air Force 1 707. All by GJ. Bought in 2000, I sold them off in 2001. I since have replaced the BOAC, PA, and Air France.

Dragin' Vings Araflop 777 and Northworst Whirled Plain 747. Bought them both in Meca. That would be Gong Konk.

I have a question. Does the rain is Spain fall mainly on the plane?

If we're talking 1:400...freshman year at Embry-Riddle in fall '99, when Sky's the Limit came to campus for one of their "model shows" at the Student Center. I picked up the GJ Delta L-1011 and United 747-400.

I think my first diecast was a Braniff 727-100 in Flying Colors livery with retractable gear that my parents probably picked up at KB or Toys R Us. I was probably around 3 or 4 and I used to take that thing everywhere.

Ask any Russia that you meet to say, "Hong Kong" or Hamburger". Sounds like "Gong Kong" and "Gambearger". For some reason they don't have an "h". Much like when a Japanese guy says, "r" it comes out as an "l" "Flied lice. Suki des ka!"

Well, if we're talking 1:400, my first model was a 1:400 jetBlue A320. If we're talking models in general, though, my first model was actually an old plastic snap-fit of an Aer Lings A330-300 in what I think is a 1:200 scale (but I'm not entirely sure!)

My first eiru-blayn was a Gemini Jets Cathay Pacific 747-400... I started with 1:200 models and switched over to 1:400 with this model, because i flew with exactly this CX-744. I was so excited when i got it that i added more and more 1:400 blayns to my collection, plus the advantage to have the double space...

Just take a chill pill our 1.7 year old Airtran Pilot (aka jmoegh/airflorid54/Atlanta Rules). I recommend you get this: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

It has a nice built in spell check that is just like the one in MS Word. Unfortunately, it looks like it can't fix grammar mistakes (like lack of punctuation.)

my first airplains were a set of 3 1:600 models(B747, A310, B737) i bought onboard a Sabena DC-10 when I was a kid. they were all SCHABAKs because back then GJ, DW, PH et all did not exist. i still have that set with me, though the decals have chipped/faded potentially on all of 'em.

my first 1:400 model was the GJ TG A346....love it!!

Which do you prefer?
The planes in Spain crash mainly into the plain.
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.
The plain grain of Spain goes mainly down the drain.
The plains in Spain look nothing like Ukraine.
Don't be vain if you're plain in Kiev, Ukraine.
It's a pain to be in Spain soaking wet in the rain.

..... Seriously, work on your spelling. I grew up dyslexic and learned. I'm not perfect but I don't get called stupid or moron. You don't want to either. People do judge you by how you write and speak. If you don't believe that, you'll find out at your first job interview. The less you use "dude" and "like" when speaking the smarter you'll sound.

..... And now... my very first diecast airplane of memory was the still missed Dinky Toys BOAC Comet that I played with until the paint on it was very worn. The first 1/400 diecast was a Singapore A340 that my wife bought me as a reward for driving her to Buffalo. My second, also for my wife and for the same reason, was an Air New Zealand 747-100 and the rest as they say is history a couple hundred 1/400 models later.

I've never bought a real aircraft, but my first model was a Matchbox plastic kit of a Dornier Alpha Jet in 1:72 scale back in about 1981 or so, the first of many self assembly plastic kits in various scales. Those days are long gone however and nowadays I only buy 1:400 scale, the first of which being Gemini's A330-200 in Aer Lingus livery back in 2003 having flown on the real thing (different reg) from Dublin to Los Angeles and back again.

I shuttled between my home airport of Glasgow and Dublin on an Aer Lingus BAe 146, now the subject of Gemini's only other Aer Lingus release in the current livery. I'm hoping they'll do some of the other Aer Lingus types I've flown on such as the Boeing 734 and Airbus A320/1.

Ha! My wife also bought me my first 1:400 plain (as a birthday present 5+ years ago). It was the Gemini Aloha "Flower Power" 737, which was one of my favorite plains as a kid.

I'd say that she dreads getting me into this hobby - but I just smile when she tells me she bough another American Girl doll.

Wish my first 1/400 was something from the Braniff "End the Plain Plane" campaign...but alas I cannot be witty and must inform you that my first diecast in this scale was a DW Canada 3000 A330-200. (Because DW got the extended vertical tail correct ).

I'm going back a few years now, I believe '1999' was the year I bought my first 'air plain' (it was a GJ American 777 chrome) I remember it fondly as I was at the viewing park at LGW watching my brother's plane depart for New York, it was an AA 777 thus the reason for the purchase from the viewing park shop which has now sadly closed, post 9/11 due to security threats. Sadly a common fate with most viewing facilities at UK airports

My first 400 was Gemini's Delta DC-9-51, followed almost at once by their Eastern DC-8-21 Golden Falcon cs.

My first 200 was a Western Models Eastern Super G Connie.

My first airplane model was an Aurora B-29 of who knows scale. This was back in the early '50s... AD.

No, I think it falls mainly on the Spanish

The first plane I ever had was a small Air France Concorde diecast toy that I found in about 1987 in a car park in London, whilst I was searching for possible dogging sites (I was ahead of my time)
