No that's cheap, a Gemini South African A340 just went for like 212 USD...

After looking at the bid history, it appears there was a "bidding war" between a couple of bidders. I can certainly think of no other reason this particular model would fetch such a price... insane!

In retrospect it seems that I should have not have used that GJ SAA A340 as a doner model two years ago for HNL Chris to make an Aloha Blue A340 for me.

I remember a few years ago, I got caught up in bidding on a Gemini Jets sample and won the auction at $200

Before the model arrived, I had 2 offers for it.....I then had buyers remorse and......

..........I sold it before I had it in my hands for $400.

Not a bad profit for doing little to nothing.

You're lucky if it's cheap to you. Not for me, I'll never pay that high for an 1/400 model (even an AF Caravelle...).
