Default Flying Tiger DC-8

Do any of the Diecast Manufactures make a Flying Tigers DC-8 in 1/400?
I have never seen one......

To my knowledge we have seen two 707's, two or three 747s, and a DC6, but no DC8. I would only guess that Andrew will be making one of these.

I need a FT DC-8-63F for my Perth Airport diorama.

It would be great to offer three versions... DC 8 61F, DC 8 63F, and the holy grail, the DC 8-73F!!!

I have the DC 6A and the Super H Connie. I also have a couple of 747s and a 707. I'd also love to see the fabled C 46 in Tigers as well as Delta and Braniff and PAA.

I know we're talkin' about Super DC-8's here, and y'all know how I feel about them, but I would go ape for a C-46 Commando in Delta Air Freighter colors! Plus, if we actually make it to a mould for the big Curtiss, I think it only appropriate for Evert's Air Cargo and Evert's Air Fuel to be included in the mix. Quite possibly the only U.S. company to still make use of the fabled Commando.

Thumbs up Re: Flying Tiger DC-8

The FT DC-8s are a must have for me. All 3 BETA's -73F (and the welcome fourth, too) were originally Flying Tigers -63Fs. I want the FT on AC 1/400 and on IF200, new mould, 1/200.

Rumor has it that AK is re-tooling his DC-8 moulds. Once they are done, we should see one or all three of these be done!!

I hope this rumor is true!!

Andrew himself hinted strongly that an Air Afrique DC-8-63 MAY be in January's lineup. Indeed good news if the case, it means work is done, or very close to being done on a revamped DC-8. If one is, I'm sure more will follow throughout 2008.
