What is the difference between the 80s livery and the current one? I suppose the model released is the one showed in the small picture posted above, isn´t it?

Yes it is. Basic livery remained the same, the only subtile change being the replacement of the two last reg letters on fin by the twelve Europe stars.
Nose markings evolved later, "Groupe Air France" and Skyteam logo being added during 90s and 2000s.

Still looking for following 1/400 models :
AIR FRANCE Concorde F-BVFC & F-BVFD
AIR FRANCE 747 delivery colors F-BPVH
I recommend starting one with Socatec instead...since they hold the licensing for AF it would probably go a longer way speaking with them.

I guess that would be the best way. Their website has a forum, but is partially down for the moment as they're reworking it. As soon as they're back I'll check if an AF A321 is on its way.

Thanks

Are Socatec and GJ partners? They seem to share the same moulds. I'd like this, too, but I like the old AF livery better...maybe they'll come out with that, too.

Socatec owns the AF license...GJ has the moulds...this is nothing new. This is much the same that someone out there own the Pan Am license or the Eastern license. Deals just like this have been going on for years, you just don't realize it.
So great! That's one more model that I can delete from my wish list. A fantastic finish for my collection year 2007. I flew frequently on this AF 727-200 between 1980 and 1982, always on the CDG-Hamburg-CDG sector - with one exception. In winter 1981 I was quite surprised when I saw that an AF 707 was used for our flight from Hamburg to Paris. Till date my penultimate 707 flight. So yes, I want an AF 707 new colours - but not on the Gemini mould! A green box release would be much preferred.

I'd prefer a GB release too. The only GJ 707 I have is the AF 707 OC, so I guess if Socatec releases this one (presumably on the GJ mould), it would be my second one...
