I'd say so as I don't recall any B752(WL) released previously by GJ.

And an American Airlines 757-200WL! Now they just have to add winglets to the PW version and we can get a Northwest Airlines 757-200WL, too...

I'm waiting for the NWA.

But I gotta tell ya, this is tempting!

This is becoming an expensive month!

Hey, how about doing one of the 55+ that United had in Saul Bass for a decade, instead of the one plane US has that's had winglets for a week? And instead of re-releasing every already-done 757 but with winglets this time--how about the major operators/schemes we still don't have?

United Saul Bass
US Air bare
America West o/c
Delta widget with a cockpit not totally completely F'd up

Thumbs up Re: NEW RELEASE: 1:400 Gemini Jets US Airways B 757-2B7WL

Glad to see this one coming, and I'm also looking forward to future versions, such as CO, DL, AA....and especially NWA, since they are now flying wingletted 752's on the new BDL-AMS route.

I need a Continental and a US Airways 757W because both are regulars in Lisbon (Continental does twice daily Lisbon-Newark and US Airways does Lisbon-Philadelphia)

What's the problem with them? As we've gone over before in countless threads, the use of plastic for wings enhances realism since the manufacturer can add more detail. Now, if the manufacturer chooses not to take advantage of this, then it's a completely different story.

to me, plastic is easier to break, when i am dusting off my planes, i just use tissue to wipe off the dust, dont want to snap a wing off

How often has this happened to you? I've yet to break a wing while dusting my models.

Me neither but if I am cleaning my models I would pay more attention to the landing which are majority very tiny piece of plastic. If the plane accidently drop on it's landing gear (similar to a hard landing, perhaps) they would probably break.

N201UU was the first US 757 to get winglets and has had them for over 6 months. Plus GJ hasn't done a US 757 in the new colors yet...so it's not exactly a re-release. The US Air bare o/c and HP o/c would definitely be nice, though.
